Reinventing Cities is a competition initiated by C40 and 19 major cities to drive carbon free and resilient urban regeneration. They invite developers and creative minds to collaborate and compete for the opportunity to transform 49 sites across the world. This session will present this unprecedented initiative and will discuss how alliance between cities and businesses can shape greener and economically viable urban development.

Lina Ghotmeh and her team have been invited to hold a workshop for the construction of a green house in the ‘domaine of BoisBuchet’. The space, dominated by a 19th century castle, is propriety of Alexander von Vegesack. It regroups, since 1986 an ensemble of experimental pavillons and artistic installations, constituting an open air museographic collection. Realized in collaboration with Vitra Design Museum, the installation’s goal is a full immersion into nature’s realm.
Lina Ghotmeh will be conferencing at EUROPA talks, RIBA along with LAN, 51N4E, Gijs Van Vaerenbergh. The discussion will be chaired by Sarah Castle, director of IF_DO architects. EUROPA Talks connects Ideas Across Borders focusing on the relationship between European countries and the UK. This is an exposure to today’s most experimental approaches to architecture.

Both a landscape to survey and to visit, a place devoted to the transmission of the knowledge with workshops organized by ‘l’Atelier des regardeurs’ and events within the framework of the night of the ideas or for other teaching possibilities for the young audience or adults. Lina Ghotmeh — Architecture builds steps of varying levels, made of gray cement planks with golden edges reminiscent of the Japanese Kintsugi method. Its structure translates in its form the very idea of meeting and sharing knowledge. A 'landscape art' where the courses and discussions will take place.
‘Les Bois D’Angers’ is announced as the winner of the site of Angers and of the AdivBois prize. Designed as an extension of the nature adjacent to the site, the proposed architecture embodies the evolution in wood construction within the same buil‘Les Bois D’Angers’ wins the competition for the design and construction of " innovative wood constructions in France Adivbois". Designed for Angers, it is a complete wooden construction imagined as an extension of the nature adjacent to the site. This architecture is a technological and ecological breakthrough for elevated wooden construction as well as a pioneer for innovative interior design. All custom-made in wood. ding. From the scale of the house to the wooden tower, ‘Les Bois D’Angers’ is a formal immersion in nature.

LG-A designed the new boutique of celebrated chocolate maker Patrick Roger. Located in the heart of Paris at the prestigious address of 225 Faubourg St. Honoré in the 8th, the shop is designed as a three-dimensional entry into the luminous sculptures of one of “France’s Best Workers.”
